Hey nomer,
well, i have to say that it is good to be here. I think that many of us still miss the old asgvis forum, and all of the tips from other users. This is great my friend. Honestly, it´s been way harder to improve without the tips of other visualizers, so i'm really hoping to post all of my images here to receive constructive comments from people around the world and improve my rendering skills much faster. This is like a gift, so thank you and see you around! Wink

hi bro.. this is the reason bro why I created this.. http://svartists.roomforum.com/f10-critique-my-work

I really like to make this for constructive criticism called "critique" where you can ask for honest opinion. The gallery is basically for celebrating achievements.

I have been to many forum and facebook group. I have found these two..

1. facebook.. frineds open put like and even giving cliche's comments. its good it boost your moral but sometimes too shallow to get feedback.. I love giving feedback to others, but i found its sometimes tiring. you just hope that the comment will be beneficial but then FB is so fast in dumping the post under the rubble. within the span of 3 days you cant see the post anymore. Its just super hard for archiving. This is the greatest advantage of forum, you can always revisit old postings with ease because they were nicely cataloged into group and forum topics.

2. I have seen also with lots of forum. "lick me then i will lick you". again it does not really help that much.

3. In contrast, I have seen some brutal forums, where you asked them to comment and you will only hear harsh words and egalitarian comments. It's not useful either because it discouraged the spirit.., Everyone have different learning styles and psychological behaviors; therefore based on this I would like to promote a BAlance; the need for constructive comment and the need to celebrate work, whilst the two were created.

ANd even with the "critique me thread", you will notice whenever you post or answer, the guidelines in critiquing will be there. And like what I have learned in the school; "Always give two types of feedback "WARM and COOL". Warm are those you feel the guys is achieving/making effort or developing, and Cool are feedback that help to improve and how to improve it...

Indeed; its hard to give constructive comments because you will analyze the scene and use your prior knowledge and judgement. Even this everything will be an advice only. It's up to the one who will receive comment if they will accept it or not. But as for myself, I learned from the comments of others. I learned that I cant see everything...

ALthough there is a saying that too many chef will spoil the soup. Indeed, but hear the visualizer is the main cook. He/she just receive feedback.

All I can say here is I how much I value your approach to what can truly be called "constructive criticism", and how safe a framework this is for me to feel encouraged to share my endeavours at 3d.

I know that to achieve a balance between acknowledging the effort and highlighting the weaknesses of a person posting their renders is hard and subtle work. We all need to feel respected and valued in order to move forward and improve. And I feel like stressing out again how much I appreciate your willingness to nurture this kind of creative atmosphere.

great comments both of you. i think that when we share... we just have to be ready to everything, and for that, the only way is understanding that everybody is capable of learning and sharing new knowledge. Sometimes i have seen guys with a lot of potential, but when somebody gives them a valuable tip, they just reject them.
This is great, once again. I´ll be sharing everything i can and hopping i can help and learn, cause guys, one thay we will be leaders in this Wink

Yes Omar that is sometimes true especially to those people who think highly of themselves. But they wont grow, there is no room to improve. I learned many times not on what I achieved but on someone who pointed some stuff. I learned that my tiling is repeated, even lighting, and recently someone pointed out about lack of translucency of my leaves (though at that time i dont notice them). But there is no way for me to know them. When people see them then I began to realize that they are right. In the end I have learned how to notice it. Not to please them btw and get their nod. Those who reject valuable tips are in jeopardy of loosing a jewel and in jeopardy of taking precious from someone who is willing to give it.....
